Il était fils d’une femme veuve de la tribu de Nephthali, et son père était Tyrien, ouvrier en airain ; et il était rempli de sagesse et d’intelligence, et de connaissance pour faire tous les ouvrages en airain ; et il vint vers le roi Salomon, et fit tout son ouvrage.
