Bible Verses About Dominion and Authority

From creation, God gave humanity dominion, and in Christ believers share his authority over the powers of darkness. Scripture declares: "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke 10:19). The Word affirms: "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." (Genesis 1:28). As it is written: "Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:" (Psalms 8:6). Walk in the authority Christ has given, use it in humble dependence, and steward creation faithfully.
